This Privacy Policy explains how Coldcast ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and the Coldcast browser extension and dashboard (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, and billing details when you sign up.
• Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the Service is used.
• Your exported leads — the lead data you capture runs in your own browser. Where the Service stores lists in your workspace, that data belongs to you.

Browser extension data handling

The Coldcast browser extension reads your Coldcast API key and the session cookies of the data sources you are signed into (LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, Lusha, SalesQL, ContactOut) in order to capture and export lead data — including names and email addresses — on your behalf, using your own authenticated sessions. This information is sent only to your own Coldcast account. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to providing the export and enrichment service.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account and support requests.

3. What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data. We never ask for or store your LinkedIn password — scraping runs in your own browser session, so your credentials stay with you.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Coldcast (for example, hosting and payment processing), each bound to protect it, and where required by law.

5. Data retention & your rights

You can access, export, or delete your workspace data at any time. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have additional rights — contact us to exercise them.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
